Applets
Applets are tiny applications made with a programming language called Java. Below are some of the Applets I've made.
Before you look at any of them, a few notes: I suggest viewing my Applets at a resolution of 1024x768 or higher, in Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser, on a computer running one of the vaguely newer versions of Windows (like say, '98 or later). My Applets should theoretically work on other systems and in other browsers, but they are not tested for everything. Also make sure that you have any pop-up blocking software disabled before you try to launch the applets. The Applets will only work right using the newer versions of the Sun Java plug-in (or JRE), but they should also automatically launch a download page if you don't have the right version; if this happens, just follow the instructions (be warned, it will be a large download, and will take a long time on slower connections). If the Applets don't seem to be working correctly, or don't work at all, try manually downloading the latest plug-in here. Also make sure you're using the best browser for viewing Java Applets on your system. For instance, if you're using a Mac, Safari seems to be a pretty good Java browser, although I've also seen IE version 5.1 or higher recommended.
If you think you've got everything up to date and all your settings right, and something still isn't working, or isn't working correctly, then please let me know and I will do my best to fix it.
