I also caught the football game. It was boring. A bunch of guys got injured, including the kicker from the Giants (apparently they've had seven in four years!), whose jaw got slammed. bloginator: Yeah, I was rather impressed by the consistency of the name generators. It's not randomized, really. It's pretty clever.

Some websites do indeed refer to the planet in Flash Gordon as Mungo. But in the Flash Gordon movie, the name of the planet was Mongo, as you'll see here. And this page, which looks pretty detailed and official, also calls it Mongo. But you were close.

While talking about how boring the football game is, you mention one of the nastiest and most exciting hits of the game--when our guy slammed into the Giants' kicker at full speed. That was awesome. We hit their new quarterback pretty hard, too. As my Dad put it, "Welcome to the NFL."

I was sad to see another of our guys go out for the season, though. He was a rookie, that was his first game in the NFL, and now his leg's broken and who knows if he'll even get to play another professional game. That sucks.]]> Monday, September 13, 2004 10:39 AM
