Good list of stuff, Feanor. I'm so happy that you're getting in to comics, and even happier that you're really taking the plunge into the deep end.

I've gotta agree with your decision to pick up Iron Fist. Fraction and Brubaker are killing it on that comic every month. If you odn't mind me putting some more stuff uner your nose, go out and pick up the first collection of Criminal right the hell now. It's great stuff, in a different vein, but from the same writer.

Conan was really good at the beginning, but what little I've read since Truman took over hasn't really cpativated me.

Morrsion's work on Superman and Batman is superlative. Quitely is amazing on All-Star, but I'm not a big fan of Kubert over on Bats. It's still a fun read, nonetheless.

As for Doctor Strange; the Oath is really frigging great. Outside of that you'd be hard pressed to find a recent comic with him in it that's any good. New Avengers has been alright, but Leinel Yu's inerpretation of him just doesn't look right, and Bendis hasn't done much with the character yet. If you like Vaughan's work on Doctor Strange I'd also recommend his book Runaways. Fun, dark, fantastic book about the children of MarvelU supervillains. I'd also recommend Ex Machina, but I know you already have some of that in your collection.

OK, Criminal's going on my spreadsheet (yeah, it's a spreadsheet now). Thanks. Enabler! :)

Matt Fraction is my new favorite guy, because of Iron Fist and Punisher War Journal. I also just realized he also wrote a book called Five Fists of Science that I got out of the library and rather enjoyed, though Poppy hated it. :)

If I'd finished Conan #39 first, I'd never have bought Conan #40. Dull stuff.

I actually just picked up the latest issue of Runaways this weekend, with no knowledge of what it's about, simply because it's being written by Joss Whedon now.

Now I need to read all this stuff quick, before Wednesday comes up again...
