| busy weekend |

When I realized last week that I was going to have five days off (thanks to the fact that I took off Thursday and Friday, and of course Monday was a holiday), it seemed like a ridiculous, near-infinite amount of time. But of course, there was packing and cleaning to do, then it was off to Cincinnati to visit our friends Erik and Pooja and their two cool kids (it was great to see Erik and Pooja again, Ajai has become a really smart and imaginative little person, and Iraj is a really cute, calm little baby), and so forth and so on, and all kinds of driving and plane riding and excitement, and now all of the sudden it's almost Wednesday and I feel like I didn't get any time off at all. I don't mean to complain - it was a fun weekend - but I feel like I never stopped the whole time, and I'm still going now.

I feel like I was going to say something else, but...I think I'll just go to sleep instead.
UPDATE: I'm going to have to redo those photos. I resized them and saved them on our laptop, using a free program I downloaded off the web, and, well, I guess you get what you pay for. I'll do them up right in Photoshop and upload again, as soon as I get the chance. Sigh.
FURTHER UPDATE: Done! And I think they look much better. Yay! |
