Why I Am Not Alton Brown
 by Fëanor

Inspired by an episode of "Good Eats," in which our erstwhile host is forced to make tasty meals out of the Thanksgiving (and other) leftovers that happen to be in the fridge, I, being rather hungry, put together my own tasty treat out of the stuff I found in the fridge. Poppy, upon seeing my concoction, was so disgusted that she politely asked me to eat it in another room.

(P.S. In case you're interested, my snack consisted of some cooked ground beef and Spanish rice and peppers, both leftover from a Mexican meal we'd had a while ago. I added some salsa, mixed it together, and microwaved it on a plate, then ate it with tortilla chips. And, for the record, I thought it was very tasty. Although possibly not the smartest thing to consume at almost 8 o'clock at night.)
