Heavy things
 by Fëanor

This past weekend was pretty busy. Fullmotor's fun TV party was Saturday night, and Sunday was MAN DAY with my brother. Both of these events involved lots of Wii-ing, and that's good. After further play, I've decided Rampage is a good game, and that I need to buy Rayman: Raving Rabbids.

Poor poppy continues to be sick. It was a cold/flu thing with coughing, and then it was a stomach flu, and now it's weakness and coughing again. She can't get a break! Thankfully, she had today off for the holiday, so she gets more time to rest.

Stole a lot of comics from Fullmotor Saturday night, and that's after I just scratched the surface of his enormous collection. If I dug deeper, I'd probably come away with whole boxes of books that interest me. This is getting bad!

Speaking of which, more reviews of graphic novels are forthcoming, as I've been plowing through all the books I got out of the library and I've nearly finished all of them now.

Saturday night was tarnished by the Eagles' loss. When I realized TV party and the Eagles playoff game was going to be at the same time, I got a little upset, but now I'm actually quite pleased I didn't watch the game, as sitting through the entire thing only to come to that conclusion would have made it even more depressing.

But anyway, I started this entry for a specific reason. The other night, VH1 was airing a multi-part special called "Heavy: The History of Metal." It was totally interesting and cool, but it was also on very late at night, so I only watched about one and a half episodes of it before I really had to just go to sleep. Still, during that time, I decided that I need to get some Iron Maiden, because they are apparently prog metal, and prog metal is my thing. But I don't know which albums are the good ones. So, who can recommend to me a good Iron Maiden album? Yagathai, I'm looking in your direction...
