The Setup |
by Fëanor |
What, no World War Hulk titles this week?! ARGH! Still, lots of other neat stuff should be on the shelves...
Back issues and old data
Hellboy Volume 5: Conqueror Worm
Hellboy Volume 6: Strange Places
Hellboy Volume 7: The Troll Witch and Others
Batman: The Doom that Came to Gotham #3
Crécy
Heavy Liquid
The Hood (New Avengers)
Runaways Volume 7: Live Fast
Ultimate Spider-Man Vol. 2
Avengers Classic #4
Thunderbolts Volume One: Faith in Monsters
The usual suspects.
The Authority Volume 3: Earth Inferno and Other Stories
Yes, I must continue collecting The Authority now that I've discovered the Millar/Quitely run on the book is good, as well. Damn them!
New releases
Immortal Iron Fist #9
Woo hoo! The tournament begins! This issue should pretty much be wall-to-wall kung fu fighting. And I am way more than okay with that.
All-Star Batman and Robin, the Boy Wonder #7
A new issue of Miller's insanely ridiculous series about the goddamn Batman?! I'll believe it when I see it.
Batman #669
The Agatha Christie-style mystery, with B-list superheroes guest starring, continues. Can't wait!
The Order #3
Love this book. I expect Fraction to rock my socks off once again with this issue.
Criminal #9
Brubaker brings the heist, complete with intrigue, suspense, violence, and his patented doom and gloom.
X-Men: First Class #4
Yay! This is definitely the most fun, and the funniest, funny book on my list this week.
Blue Beetle #19
Still a bit shaky on this series, as I picked it up and dropped it once already, but #18 was good, so we'll see what happens.
Justice League of America #13
I'm picking up this book now because they're doing a storyline with the Injustice League of supervillains, which sounds fun, and because a new creative team is taking over on this issue, and it includes writer Dwayne McDuffie, who I believe I like, though I can't remember what it is I read by him that gave me that impression. I might drop it after one issue, though. Most of the big DC titles I've tried have left me pretty cold. |
