And not exactly all that happy about it. We had a very nice weekend down at our frequent vacation destination, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Amongst other things, we shopped (purchasing CDs, comic books, and clothes), drank an entire bottle of champagne in about an hour (I can't say for sure if it was the first time I had ever been drunk, but it was definitely the first time I had ever been quite that drunk), read some more of the fantastic Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell (we're finally almost halfway!), and ate a lot of tasty food that was quite bad for us (including fried macaroni and cheese!). Then we got back and watched the Eagles fall over themselves in their ultimately successful attempts to let the Bears win. Blargh. Ah, well. |
