After an exciting, hard-fought contest against NC State, Rutgers won the Papajohns.com Bowl yesterday! No, it's not the Papa Johns Bowl, because that would mean the game would be left with a modicum of dignity. Instead, it is the Papajohns.com Bowl. And I'm pretty sure the commentators must have signed some kind of contractual agreement to mention the name of the game every fifteen minutes or so, because they were constantly saying pointless things like, "That player just made a 20-yard touchdown catch... in the Papajohns.com Bowl."
So yeah, not exactly the coolest bowl game you could win, but still, a bowl game win is a bowl game win. Go Rutgers! |
