Just added a few more photos to our Christmas 2008 Flickr set. We went to Target yesterday to take advantage of the post-Christmas clearance sales and picked up some decorations for next year, including this fellow:
I just couldn't resist him. I have a secret love for gnomes.
When we got home, I found that a couple of the Christmas presents I'd bought online for poppy had finally arrived in the mail:
Yes, that's Momo and Appa from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Momo likes hanging out on top of our new TV. Appa prefers the comfort of the sofa. I'll admit, these weren't just for poppy; I love Appa. The only way he could be better is if he were a hand puppet and you could make his mouth move. Well, there's one more way he could be better: if he were a real, actual, full-sized flying bison. But he'd probably be hard to keep in food. I understand he has four stomachs. |
