Unevent
 by Fëanor

Not much is going on this weekend, which is actually kind of nice for a change. There was another great "Battlestar Galactica" episode Friday night (Adama rocks!). Poppy and I tried out a local Thai place (it was okay, but sadly not as good as we'd hoped--we still have to go over to D.C. or up to New Brunswick for really good Thai food). We went over to my folks place yesterday and they helped us do our taxes using TurboTax. We filed jointly for the first time this year, and it was surprisingly painless (big refund! Woo hoo!). It was good to hang out with my folks and their dog for a while and just chill. My Mom also fed us, which is always good.

We had planned to go to a concert that night, but ended up so lazy and mentally exhausted that we decided to give it a pass, even though it was really nearby and probably pretty cheap (sorry, TrackerNeil!).

Today, we got some little chores done around the house, tried out our new air-popping popcorn popper (it was surprisingly violent!), and played a few games. I beat poppy in Scrabble, and she is currently in the process of brutally slaughtering me in Monopoly, while at the same time cooking dinner. She's a talented lady.
