Links, and a Reminder
 by Fëanor

  • First of all, a reminder. Game Day is this Sunday at the apartment of poppy and myself, starting at 9:30, and going until we get tired and kick you out. All are invited. Games will be played (specifically, I hope to get in War of the Ring, and maybe some Diceland and Brawl and Fightball, but I have no other specific plans). Food will be eaten. Fun will be had.

I plan to pick up some donuts for the morning repast, and we'll probably order pizza for later on. I'll try to pick up some soda and chips. If there's any games you want to play, or food you want to eat, that you don't think I'll have, go ahead and bring them along. Any questions, or if you need directions, just email me.

  • Now, links! First, a movie, via Steak Knife. It's audio from Office Space set to cleverly re-edited video from Super Friends. It's perhaps a bit overlong, and not as exciting as it could be, but still pretty hilarious.

  • From the darkest and most twisted part of Sarcasmo's Corner comes the site of Luke Chueh, who is now one of my favorite artists. Seriously, check out these paintings. And here's a few more. So messed up, and so awesome. If only there weren't so many damn javascript errors on his site...

  • Sarcasmo also points us towards this little distraction, with which I've been spending far too much time messing. You get money by beating up the little buddy, and then you can use the money to buy cool items with which you can beat up the buddy even more. Or you can buy new skins for the buddy. If you have some frustrations you need to work out on somebody, this might be the place to go. For instance, I particularly like the Republican skin.

  • UPDATE: Holy crap! A buddy of mine here at work just told me that Guitar Wolf is playing the North Star Bar here in Philly tonight!

For those of you who don't know or don't remember, Guitar Wolf is the Japanese rock and roll band who starred as themselves in the incredible, indescribable, and inexplicable Wild Zero.

I kind of really want to go see them. But I kind of also really don't want to, because I'm tired, and I've never been to the North Star, and it's cold and snowy out, and I'm sure poppy would rather I not. I'm torn.
