- Speaking of giant greenish monsters coming back and destroying cities (how's that for a segue?), I was just reading about the latest (and, supposedly, last) Godzilla movie in Wired, and it sounds amazing. Apparently they pulled out all the stops, and Godzilla: Final Wars is an action and special effects extravaganza, packed with fun and chases and fighting and monsters. And not only that, it was directed by Ryuhei Kitamura, he who gave us Versus, Aragami, and Azumi. I can't wait to see it, and luckily for me, I won't have to wait much longer. It's been out for a year in Japan, but it's finally coming to the States, direct to DVD, on December 13th (according to the IMDB, anyway). Hells yeah! Netflix, here I come!
