-My entire CD collection is now on my iPod, with room to spare. Now I have to work through poppy's binders...
-We saw Sketches of Frank Gehry this weekend, and it was just as excellent as I'd hoped. It ends up being not just about Gehry and his amazing work, but also about the creative process in general. It's funny, clever, interesting. Great stuff.
-Every time I think there's nowhere else for House of Leaves to go, or I think I've finally got a handle on it, it swings off in some new direction and totally floors me. And I'm loving every minute of it. Fantastic book. Pretentious as hell, sometimes too smart for its own good, and occasionally quite corny, but still fantastic.
-I should really go to bed. |
