An asterisk means the previous person had it on their list. Two asterisks means the last two people who did this before you had that band on their list."
Wow, almost no crossover at all!
The list isn't in any particular order; I started by just trying to remember bands I'd seen, then when my brain dried up, I went to my iPod and scrolled down through the list of artists to refresh my memory. I tried to focus on my favorite artists/shows, and I also tried to get a good mix of genres/time periods.
