I kind of hate myself a little for putting this on my list, but it's apparently the conclusion of the Sinestro Corp War storyline, which is a story I've been curious about since it began, and have read little bits of on scans_daily. Might as well see how it all turns out, right?
Nova #9
Meanwhile, Marvel's version of Green Lantern (except good) continues. Will the talking Russian space dog help Nova escape the decapitated head of the Celestial at the end of the universe before the zombies get him?! Only time will tell.

I'd feel wrong reading this before reading Ultimate Iron Man I... but I'll do it anyway. After all, if this totally sucks, I can just skip the first volume entirely.

The Resurrection of Ra's al Ghul storyline is thankfully almost over with; just this and then an issue of Detective Comics left to collect. And this title was pretty decent first time around, so hopefully this issue will be good, too. |
