My last post was almost totally devoid of links. This post will be almost totally devoid of anything that is not links. Which is not saying much, because it's a short post with really only about two or three links, all courtesy a colleague here at my workplace (thanks, Kelli):- First, Road Rage Cards, to be displayed to those sub-humanoid cretins that we all encounter unceasingly on the roadways of this great nation. They are rather amusing. I like especially how certain ones recur with different phrasings that indicate the level of your rage. "YOUR MUSIC SUCKS" is one of my favorites. I didn't see it, but hopefully there is some tiny text somewhere on the site saying something to the effect of WARNING: THESE COULD GET YOU KILLED--KILLED DEAD
- Secondly, a list of games that came out this year that might be good to give as gifts. I like lists, and I like games, and I like gifts, and this is a good list of gift games. I haven't played most of them, but the ones I have played (Ticket to Ride, San Juan) are good, and a number of the others (Memoir '44, Alhambra, Carcassonne: The City, Boomtown) sound interesting. Plus, the dude who made the list seems like a cool guy. I checked out his blog, and I advise you to check it out, too. It has a great title, there was a Lovecraftian reference on the front page for a while today, and it's got some really funny posts. It's in my rss reader now.
