Some research on Wikipedia revealed there were even more Warren Ellis books about Bill Gravel than I at first thought, so they all go on the list, too!
Scalped #13
I'm pretty sure this is the comic EverMike recommended to me a while back, about crime on an Indian reservation, or something like that. A new issue is coming out this week (see below), but it's part two of a story arc, which means I have to start back at this issue to get part one.
New releases
Abe Sapien: The Drowning #1
Abe gets his own miniseries! Awesome.
Annihilation: Conquest #4
The central series telling the story of Marvel's giant, multi-comic space epic continues. Very exciting.
Buffy Season 8 #11
More Buffy is always good.
Clandestine #1
Don't know much about this, but it sounded kind of neat. Alan Davis, a well-liked comic author, created the ClanDestine family of super-powered humans some time ago, and is now bringing them back in this series. The story is that they've been living among us secretly for many, many years, but now one of them decides he wants to become a costumed superhero. His actions have consequences for the entire family.
Ms. Marvel #24
The first issue of this didn't blow me away, but it also didn't annoy me, so I'm giving it another shot. This could be the make-or-break issue for me, though.
Omega: The Unknown #5
There's no knowing what a new issue of this title will bring, except that it will be unique and disturbing.
Scalped #14
See above, on Scalped #13. |
