Just as we did last year, Phillyist is posting a list every weekday in December, except Christmas Day. They're meant to be lists that look back on the past year or forward to the next year. So far I've contributed my top 10 least anticipated movies of 2009 and my top 10 best bands discovered in 2008 (which is actually just a repackaging of a post I wrote for this site a while back, but... don't tell anybody). My top 10 best bands discovered in 2007 still gets a surprising amount of traffic for some reason, so I'm hoping the new version will also be a favorite. Anyway, my top 10 most anticipated movies of 2009 should be posted soon (probably later this week), and I plan to write even more lists later. I'll try to remember to link them all here. If you have any more ideas for lists of this sort that you think I should write, please let me know! I've already started a top 10 best comic books of 2008 list, but I get the strong feeling that that might be more appropriate for this site than for Phillyist. I was thinking of a top 10 best movies of 2008, but I'm not sure I've seen enough movies that came out this year to really put together a credible list. But maybe I'll do it anyway, just for fun. |
