On the Viewer - G.I. Joe: Resolute (Episodes 9 & 10)
 by Fëanor

Episode 9 - Back to Scarlett and Duke, who find themselves in the middle of a huge firefight! Luckily, Cobra still can't shoot for shit, and Scarlett is incredibly hardcore. Also, turns out Zartan's the sniper who injured Snake Eyes and took out his teacher all those years ago. Things finish up with a surprisingly effective, realistic, and funny romantic scene between Duke and Scarlett.

Episode 10 - We already knew the Baroness' glasses were sexy, but apparently they also have a handy, heat-vision HUD. Great line: "He's probably made the Baroness' undies out of plastic explosives." Also, "There ain't a gun on this planet I ain't trained on." And I find it amusing that Destro sounds like a Sean Connery impersonator. Favorite moment: Destro getting shot in the face.

Meanwhile, dude who rode the balloon up to Cobra's satellites pulls off a crazy stunt and blows them all to smithereens. "At this time we consider Cobra blind and toothless." So what now? "We kill Cobra Commander." Word.

I love how competent and bad-ass the Joes are. Because each episode is so short, and the series has a finite length, it ends up being ridiculously fast-paced and absolutely loaded with action. It's quite brilliant. Can't wait to see the Joes take out Cobra Commander.
