Way back in the forever-ago time of October 2009, I looked at a weird, squirmy, black and white picture on a tiny screen and fell in love harder and faster and deeper than I thought it was possible to fall in love. I met the guy in the picture in person for the first time two years ago today. I heard him cry and I said, stupidly, "That's his voice!" Somehow, every day that passes, I love that little creature even more.
