Knitting:
long skinny little scarf for someone who does not know they are getting a scarf.
baby sweater for Aerenchyma's cutie.
scarf for myself in quite a silly pattern.
keyhole scarf for one of justnini's Israeli interns.
Reading/wanting to read:
A Slight Trick of the Mind - part of my recent Sherlock Holmes kick, very interesting, but considering my scattered state of mind I may not be appreciating it enough.
A Season for the Dead - I came across this randomly after finishing Name of the Rose, and since I liked NotR so much I thought, hey, why not, I've got free time. Right.
Emotional Design: Why We Love (Or Hate) Everyday Things - I'm also on a design kick.
The Well-Educated Mind: A Guide to the Classical Education You Never Had - Cause I never had one.
Strange Philadelphia: Stories from the City of Brotherly Love - I pulled it for a display, and decided I wanted it for myself. These people don't apprciate my displays anyway.
Three copies of New York Review of Books, a copy of US News (which I honestly don't know why I bother looking at), and a copy of the Economist that Erik thoughtfully left for me.
Other:
Compulsively making lists about things that need to be done before/after we move.
Thinking about how much packing there is to do.
