- Holy crap! This is the best thing ever! The White House Press Corps finally found their teeth. Check out Scott McClellan getting taken to the cleaners by the reporters on the Karl Rove/Valerie Plame issue. Here's the transcript on Salon (subscription, sorry), and here's the video (via dy). Seriously, you have to check this out, it is so awesome. I was crying with joy and laughter.
- More funny stuff via Cinematical: a hilarious critique of a Fantastic 4 toy. (Reusing old toy molds for new toys is totally not a new thing, btw. I remember when they reused the Ewok village playset as the forest hideout for Robin Hood when Kevin Costner's Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves came out.)
UPDATE: More random items of fun!- I think I know a number of you who will enjoy this little essay, which I found via kheara: Johnny Depp vs. chocolate.
- A coworker sent me this link via e-mail. Yep, some dudes have built their own working mech prototype, and now they're selling it on eBay so they can get the capital necessary to build more and better versions. Apparently the thing doesn't work all that well, but still. AWESOME. This made me think of the upcoming auction of Star Wars props that folks keep telling me about, and how I really wish I had a lot of money so I could spend it on pointless items like these.
