- Friday's Penny Arcade features a wonderful example of a primal gamer conflict: that between story and gameplay.
- Showtime's Masters of Horror series (via Cinematical) sounds amazing. Thirteen one-hour movies by such horror greats as Dario Argento, John Carpenter, Takashi Miike, Don Coscarelli, Stuart Gordon (who's doing an adaptation of the great H. P. Lovecraft's story, "Dreams in the Witch House"!!!), Tobe Hooper, and Joe Dante. This even makes me wish I had Showtime, and I never thought I'd say that. Luckily, everything comes to the internet and/or DVD eventually, so I'll just have to wait...
