Dollops and Donkeys
 by Fëanor

  • The latest rumor on the next Trek movie is that Tom Hanks might star. Crazy. I don't know if poppy's dislike of the man is infecting me, but the idea of him in a Star Trek movie just sounds all wrong to me. Then again, I've seen him be a good actor in good roles. Maybe his involvement will help get Trek back on its feet. I remain, as ever, cautiously optimistic.

It sounds kind of cool, but at the same time also kind of unwieldy and pointless. Those crazy Phantom people...

  • UPDATE: I meant to say, that earlier today, with equal parts excitement and shame, I finally completed and uploaded the final episode of my diary of this year's Philadelphia Film Festival (which ended in April, btw). Maybe next year I should set myself an earlier deadline than December 31st...
