Pity and Fools |

- I'm a bit burned out on the whole Monkey Ball thing, and I remember there being a story/adventure part to Super Monkey Ball 2 that ended up just being annoying, but I'm still vaguely interested in the upcoming game Super Monkey Ball Adventures, which promises 50 new puzzles, three old party games and three new ones, and a story-driven platformer element. The Joystiq article about it is here, and you can find some pretty cool screenshots here.
- I've often wondered if those ridiculously enthusiastic product reviews, or forum posts about products, that you find on the web sometimes might not be written by paid representatives of the companies. Well, it sounds like such a job does indeed exist. Be on your guard, consumers.
- I don't remember hearing about this movie Children of Men before, but I'm getting a bit excited about it now. First of all it's a sci-fi flick. So it's already pretty much got me right there. But the plot's kind of interesting, too: supposedly it's about a mysterious pregnancy in a future world full of spermless men. And then there's the amazing cast and crew: it stars Clive Owen, Michael Caine, and Julianne Moore, and it's directed by Alfonso Cuaron, who wrote the screenplay based on a novel by P.D. James. Pretty awesome, huh? And here's a couple pictures. They're not actually that awesome, but they're something anyway.
- Heh. Pretty funny music video. I don't want to say anymore about it for fear of spoiling the humor. But I will say that, no, nothing like that has ever happened in the Feanor and Poppy household! (Via Yagathai)
- I've been backed up on my blogging and I think I missed the boat on this one, as I've now seen it posted in multiple places since I first found the link, but here it is again anyway for those who might not have come across it yet: Chewbacca's Blog (note the URL). Turns out he's fond of the Photoshopping. (Via The Movie Blog)
- Via Backwards City and Sarcasmo's Corner comes this horrific gallery of creepy kids and disturbing cuisine. All are apparently culled from real advertising, although how anybody ever thought they'd sell anything with these pics I'll never know. Check 'em out...but beware! BEWARE!!
