It was harder to get through than I even imagined it would be - and I had been dreading it quite a bit! But the services were really, really nice, and it was really good to get together with everybody and just hug and cry on each other and remember her. I particularly liked the little cards, the photo slideshow on the computer, the piles of her writing that were everywhere. And I loved that people were able to share stories about her. I find myself really hungry for stories about her now - things she did, things she said. She was so fricking hilarious and awesome.

Ah, damn. I don't know why I keep being surprised that I'm still so raw. She's the first close friend I've ever lost.

I'm pretty hungry for photos of her, too, btw (I can't believe how few I had!), so please, if you have any, join the group and put them up.

If you haven't seen it yet, and you feel like a good cry, this is a great collection of online tributes to her.
