Holy Crap
 by Fëanor

I gave the Eagles no chance in this game tonight. I wasn't sure I even wanted to watch it. With the way the Eagles have been playing lately, and the way the Patriots have been playing lately, I fully expected it to be a horrible, ugly blowout. I compared New England to a giant, barreling 16-wheeler and the Eagles to a wide-eyed rabbit in its path. But here we are near the end of the first half, and the Eagles have the lead. They're up by four points. They're playing the best they've played in a long time. They're actually making this a ball game.

I'm impressed. I'm excited. I'm hopeful.

Sure they'll probably dash my hopes like they always do, but hey... you never know, right?

Go Eagles!

UPDATE: Well, as I feared, the Eagles lost. But by only three points. And in my book, that's practically a win. Good job, guys!

Also... Donovan who?
