Come Ride the Pollercoaster with Me! |
by Fëanor |
It's polling time! Oh, how the various polls play with my emotions! Now, I'm subscribed to a cool electoral poll site on my rss reader (here's the xml link--you know you want it!). I particularly like it because for the last few days it's shown Bush down and Kerry up. Yay!
Speaking of politics, there's some questionable stuff out there. I'm not sure if I should respond to these organizations with, "I'll take any help we can get," or, "With friends like these..." Of course, the Bush camp has its share of crazy supporters, too.
On a non-political topic, I've finally put up another film festival diary entry. The time I take between posts of these has grown exponentially. Hopefully I'll live long enough to finish the damn thing.
Tonight is game night, and I have brought "Betrayal at House on the Hill" and "James Ernest's Totally Renamed Spy Game." BHH is rapidly becoming a favorite at game night. It will be our first game of JETRSG.
Peccable showed me the rules to HeroScape last night and I'm starting to form a new, more positive opinion of it. At first I thought it looked like a really basic, rather boring battle game that would probably frustrate and infuriate me. But now it appears more complex and interesting, and more like my favorite game of all time, "Diceland."
Anyways, I'd say that's it for now. Thank you, and leave it on. |
