1. A little while ago, poppy and I went to a Mexican place in Collingswood called The Tortilla Press (which was pretty good, btw) and I tried a Mexican Coca-Cola. It's Coke, but from Mexico! Most people say it tastes sweeter; I'm not sure about that, but it's definitely different, and I like it. Of course, I also like both flavors (Black Cherry French Vanilla and Strawberries & Cream) of Jazz, Pepsi's new zero calorie diet soda, and most people think that's disgusting.
2. I discovered an interesting iPod bug recently, as well as a work-around for it, and since I figured other people might run into it, too, I thought I'd let you folks know about it.
A while ago I downloaded five or six songs by this band I was interested in and threw them on my iPod. When I looked at my iPod through iTunes, all the tracks showed up correctly, by the same artist. But when I unhooked my iPod from my computer and clicked on the artist's name under Music>Artists, only one track showed up. I was totally confused for quite a while as to what was happening, but today I finally figured it out. When you have only one album by a particular artist and you click on that artist's name, your iPod skips showing you the list of albums by that artist and just goes right to the list of songs on that one album. The problem is, I only had one song by this artist that had any data in the album field. The other four or five songs didn't have an album name attached to them, so unless I actually tracked them down by their titles in the Songs menu, I couldn't see them at all. I solved the problem by putting "Unkown" into the album field for the other songs. Now when I click on the artist's name, I get the list of albums (one of which is called "Unknown") and can see the previously missing songs. |
