| Wow, what a crummy morning I'm having! |

On the upside, we watched Porco Rosso last night, and I realized that it's actually a much better movie than I'd thought the first time around, and I really enjoyed it. The movie is just so visually beautiful, with such incredibly detailed and realistic backgrounds, and such a warm look and feel, and such a fun story, and such cool and funny characters. Hayao Miyazaki is God.
I think it's the ending I didn't like the first time around, and actually that was the part of the movie some folks had a problem with last night. But knowing what was coming this time made a big difference for me, and I was totally okay with it. |
