This Week's Comics
 by Fëanor

Backissues
A visit to Fat Jack's recently helped me catch up on some of these, but not all. Here's what I'm still looking to find. I will pay good money for these, people!

Immortal Iron Fist #3

Eternals #2-4, 7

Ultimate Power #3

New Releases
Only three books coming out this week look interesting to me, and one of them is a hardback collection which I will probably pick up on Amazon, to save money.

Hellboy: Darkness Calls #2
I almost forgot about this book; I bought #1 when it came out a while back, read it and found it only mildly entertaining (at least, I think that's how I felt about it; at this point, I can barely remember), but hey, it's Hellboy by Mignola, so I've got to read it.

Silver Surfer: Requiem #1
It sounds like Silver Surfer is dying or something? Anyway, Silver Surfer is one of those hugely popular characters I don't know much about and never got into, so I figure it's about time. Besides, this is by JMS, who I generally trust.

Ultimate Galactus Trilogy
This is a hardback collection of three different short series set in the Marvel Ultimate universe chronicling the coming of Galactus and featuring tons of big Marvel characters, like the Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer, Captain Marvel, and so on. Like I was saying, the whole Galactus/Silver Surfer storyline is one I've read a lot about but never actually checked out, so this seems like a good opportunity, especially since it was written by another of my favorite comic authors, Mr. Warren Ellis - who does impending apocalyptic doom like nobody else.
