-Poppy and I saw Hellboy Animated: Blood and Iron last night, the second of the Hellboy Animated features. It's pretty good. Some really funny bits, really creepy bits, and really cool bits. But other bits were kind of corny and even rather dull, so I can't give it a completely positive review. The first one is probably the better film. Still, this one is certainly worth dropping into your Netflix queue if you're into Hellboy at all.
-Speaking of Netflix, did you know they had a limit on how many movies you can put in your queue? I didn't, until I ran headlong into it yesterday when trying to add some new movies. Admittedly, there are 482 movies in our queue (and that's after I pruned it a bit), but still, that sucks!!! We give them enough money every month that they should be able to store a list of at least 1000 movies for us, I think. I mean, it's just a list of titles. How much space can that take up on their server?
-I thought I might be able to just walk into the tattoo shop last night, or possibly tonight, and finally get my tattoo, but alas, a call to the shop convinced me otherwise - they had only one artist on duty, and were completely booked up. Luckily, it sounds like this Sunday is pretty open, so I'm going to go in tonight before movie night and try to set up an appointment for some time that day (they don't let you make an appointment over the phone - which is understandable, but still...grrr). Hopefully this time I will finally be able to get the damn thing done! |
