I haven't finished it yet, but after reading the first two issues included in Planetary Volume 1: All over the World and Other Stories (which I picked up Sunday because it said "Warren Ellis" on the cover, and because EverMike enthusiastically recommended it), I feel pretty confident in saying that it is ONE OF THE BEST THINGS EVER IN THE WORLD. I will explain why in more detail when I'm done reading it. But what with Nextwave and now this, Warren Ellis is rapidly becoming not only one of my favorite comic book authors ever, but one of my favorite people in the whole multiverse. I am considering plans to erect a shrine in his honor. |
