I only just became aware of the fact that there's going to be a Knights of the Old Republic II, and I'm very excited. Apparently the news has been out there since May. I guess I'm really out of the loop when it comes to the video games these days. Still, I kind of wish I still didn't know, since I'm going to have to wait until February of next year, apparently, before the game comes out for the PC. It's not like I'd have a chance to play it any time soon anyway, since I'm still working my way through the first game, and then I want to pick up Lord of the Rings: The Third Age for the GameCube. But when I know there's something cool out there, I get very impatient and want to buy it right away.
And here's something else I got left out of the loop on: I made my regular trip to Google news today and found this story about international discussions on where to build the world's first fusion reactor.
Um, when did we learn how to build fusion reactors?! Seriously, weren't we making science fiction movies about that idea just a few years ago?
