Also, for a heavy computer user who is also short-sighted, this is terrible and frightening news. I could make an internet porn/masturbation/blindness joke, but I'm too scared.

But let's talk about things that are just flat out exciting and good. Like, for instance, the Eagles spanking the Cowboys in Dallas last night. Yee hah! Or, how about this: a big Dali exhibition is coming to Philly! Woo hoo! I love surrealism and Dali in particular, so I'm pretty excited about this.
In other news, I like liquor! (I was going to make this a separate post, but why bother.) I already established that I like Corona. But then I had two glasses of red wine, a few sips of blush, and a very small shot of Disaronno at poppy's friend's engagement party on Sunday (thanks for the awesome honeymoon gift basket, Suzanne!), and it was good. Plus, poppy and I went wild at the liquor supermarket and picked up a six pack of another Mexican beer that seems to be pretty good (I forget the name), and some Australian wine, and a mixed six pack of random beers that I thought I might like. I've discovered that Tsingtao is a really good Chinese beer that, unsurprisingly, goes particularly well with Chinese leftovers, and that Heineken (thanks to whoever left that Heineken in our fridge, btw) is all right, too, especially with ice cream. But everything's good with ice cream, I guess.
Anyway, I'm getting carried away again, so I'll stop and go get some lunch. Everybody have a good afternoon now. |
