| Bad-Ass Dialogue |

For whatever reason, I've been thinking lately about a great line of dialogue in The Thing From Another World. This is probably one of my favorite movies; just a seriously exciting, smart, funny, thrilling, action-packed sci-fi adventure story. Anyway, the line of dialogue I'm thinking about comes near the end of the movie, just before the climactic battle. The remaining humans are waiting to face off against the alien invader when one of them has a horrifying thought: "What if he can read our minds?" His companion just smiles and says, "Then he's gonna be real mad when he gets to me."
That is some serious bad-assery right there. |
