| More Tales of the Hulk |

I read online that 7-Eleven, as part of a big cross-promotional deal with The Incredible Hulk, would be selling an exclusive Hulk comic book, so I stopped by my local store the other day to see if I could find it. I could not, and when I asked the guy behind the register, he had no idea what I was talking about (despite the fact that they are supposed to be offering such a thing, according to a press release on their own website). But anyway, while I was there, I perused their various other Hulk merchandise, and decided to get myself a small cup of the special Hulk Slurpee. (I also considered the exclusive Hulk Slurpee cups and straws, but I just kept thinking about how I'd have to pack them for our upcoming move, and decided against it.) This new Slurpee flavor is called, I kid you not, Radiation Rush, and it's sort of a blueish-greenish color. It has a very strong fruity flavor, but I couldn't tell you what fruit, exactly, is involved. It's actually quite nasty and I couldn't even finish it, which is saying something.
Also, the woman checking out ahead of me was purchasing a Double Gulp. Have you seen one of these monstrosities before? It's got to be at least a gallon of fluid - possibly more. Just insane. |
