Another update: we moved in yesterday, and it went quite well! I wasn't at the house for the actual move in, as I was driving a U-Haul truck all over the place picking up even more items for our new house, but everything's here now and we had the Dads over, as well as Ev and Suzanne, to help us start putting things away. We're loving the place, despite a few small issues (like the sink in the guest bathroom going haywire).
And as you might have guessed, I am now legitimately online! There was, of course, a small issue with the Comcast appointment, but we all knew that was going to happen. What it boils down to is that I had to schedule another appointment for somebody to finish the job and run cable in the basement and upstairs so we can watch TV in those places as well. But I have digital cable in the rec room, as well as internet, so I'm happy for now. Here's hoping my next bill doesn't have an insanely large number on it... |
