Another Eagles Miracle |
by Fëanor |
I almost forgot to mention the incredible fact that after the unlikely win they pulled off on Thanksgiving, the Eagles managed an even more unlikely win on Sunday against arguably the best team in the NFL at the moment, the New York Giants. It was a weird day for football in general, with many teams achieving unlikely victories. It was like we were living on Bizarro World. Of course the Giants helped the birds by dropping every other pass, and the Eagles kept it agonizingly close as they like to do by throwing away timeouts like they were going out of style, and letting a couple of field goals get blocked. But the defense held up well, and the offense (by which I mean Westbrook) performed some impressive maneuvers. The next game the Eagles should logically win pretty easily, which means there's a good chance they'll lose. Anyway, they're keeping it interesting! |
