To get us pumped for Battlestar Galactica's upcoming final half of season, Sci Fi is posting an online series called Face of the Enemy on its website. It's divided into 10 parts of only a handful of minutes each. I just caught up by watching the first three parts. Here are my impressions as I watched:
Wow, Gaeta's gay! That's interesting. And hey, they lost the fleet! That sucks. I'm not clear on why the fleet is even still cruising around, and what it's new destination might be, after they've already found Earth (even if it was a dead Earth). But maybe that will be explained when the new season (or half of season) starts.
So, something completely random made them jump way off course. And the Eight seems to think Gaeta knows her.
I'm pleased that Tigh is accepting and understanding of gay relationships. Although slightly surprised, too. He strikes me as the kind of guy who'd be a homophobe.
So Gaeta gave this Eight a piece of paper back on New Caprica? Not sure what that's about.
Oh great, now they have a murder mystery and they're trapped together on a tiny little ship! Messed up. Anybody want to play Werewolf? Heh heh.
Well, these are interesting so far. I'll have to try to keep up with them. |
