On the Viewer - Battlestar Galactica: The Face of the Enemy (Webisodes #4 & #5) |
by Fëanor |
As the series continues, it turns out Gaeta and this particular Number Eight were essentially like Liam Neeson and Ben Kingsley in Schindler's List back on New Caprica, with Gaeta making up lists of people and Eight secretly getting them out of prison. Eight was very emotional about it, and she and Gaeta shared at least one kiss (maybe Gaeta's bi?). Meanwhile, in the present, they dump the body of the dead Eight into space. Gaeta's Eight tells him, while the others are asleep, that she thinks she might be able to interface with the computer and calculate how to get back to the fleet, but she's afraid the others will think she's sabotaging the ship, so she asks him to keep guard. But before they can enact her plan, they discover that somebody else is dead, thanks to an overdose on Gaeta's medicine. Is it another murder? Or just suicide? The others suspect the Eight and tie her up. Great, now there's no chance of Gaeta being able to convince them to let her interface with the computer. D'oh.
The good news is, Gaeta's boyfriend is on his way, and hopefully somehow he'll be able to track the ship down. But from the clip at the very beginning of the series, I get the feeling even if he does get there, only Gaeta will be left alive.
As usual with BG, things start out terrible for our heroes, and then just keep getting worse! Should be interesting to see how it all turns out... |
