Recyclotron |
by Fëanor |
Fëanor pours the entire internet into the Recyclotron, and only the best links come out the other end for you to enjoy.
- A very cool stop-motion animated music video celebrating 8-bit video gaming. (Via)
- More Them Crooked Vultures videos (via, via, via).
- Some news on the John Carter of Mars movie: English actors Samantha Morton, Dominic West, and Polly Walker have joined a cast that already includes Taylor Kitsch, Lynn Collins, and Willem Dafoe. (Via)
- Watch a very funny and clever Pixar short film online for free! It's called Presto! (Via)
- A fantastic Where the Wild Things Are tattoo. (Via)
- Cute but weird TV ads directed by Spike Jonze and starring Brad Pitt. (Via)
- Bingle lets you search Google and Bing at the same time. Although why you'd want to search Bing I don't know. (Via)
- Searching for info about Jessica Biel is the most dangerous thing you can do on the internet!
- Maurissa "Dollhouse" Tancharoen's younger brother Kevin Tancharoen will direct the sci-fi action film Arcana for Universal. It'll be produced by Brett Ratner. Details are being kept under wraps, but "it's described as a live-action graphic novel influenced by Blade Runner that includes martial arts and uses production methods similar to Zack Snyder's 300." Except for the reference to 300, that's all good news! (Via)
- Some details on what we can expect from Dollhouse season 2. (Via)
- Heh. God prefers atheists. (Via)
- Dude, that's messed up. (Via)

- Cool Boba Fett-inspired figures. (Via)
- This is one of those random things on the internet that I find amusing, even though it makes no sense. So, it's like a lot of the stuff I post, I guess... (Via)
- Wait... really? Steven Seagal: Lawman? (Via)
- Sure, Dogs Playing Poker is cute and all. But what about Ewoks Playing Poker (via)?? And while we're talking Ewoks (apparently it was Ewok Wednesday the other day?), here's a cool illustration of said creatures (via).
- Animals making OMG faces! (Via)
- Primer is a brilliant movie - indeed, much smarter than I. I couldn't understand it at all. And this timeline chart is nearly as confusing to me. But maybe it will help you. (Via)
- Pics from a Gundam wedding. (Via)
- That is one impressive catch. (Via)
- Rock Band Network sounds like a cool addition to the game. It will "let artists and labels of any stripe convert their songs into Rock Band files. If the community approves of them, the songs will go on sale in the Rock Band Network Music Store."
- It's a Quentin Tarantino edition of Wired Playlist.
- Top ten geekiest constructed languages. Go Sindarin!
- Time for a new all-bunnies production: Halloween. (Via)
- Cute Spider-Man pillow. (Via)
- Is Chihuanhas a real movie? It looks like a horror film starring deadly half dog, half piranhas.
- Tomorrow is an all video game Amazon Gold Box. Sweet.
- Could I be streaming video on my Wii right now??
- The 10 geekiest tattoos? I don't think so, but there are some good ones here.
- 12 weird sci-fi statues you can buy for your garden. I want most of these.
- Uh oh, sounds like the Green Lantern movie is not going so well. That makes me sad.
- "Takashi Shimizu... is directing The Shock Labyrinth, a 3-D live-action movie that takes place in a theme park near Mount Fuji and follows a group of teens dealing with the shocking return of a friend they had assumed to be dead." Nice.
- A dinosaur-shaped sandwich cutter! Dude, I want my dinosaur sandwich now!
- Impressive gigantic Marvel poster. (Via)
- Silent movie AT-AT. (Via)
- This is a handy thing to have when you find yourself pining to be insulted in horribly weird ways by Warren Ellis. Like you do. (Via)
- Hmm. I like the idea of making an official retweet function, but I'm not sure I like how Twitter is planning to do it. (Via)
