I apologize for the lack of blogging on my part, loyal readers. It's been hairy at work, and I really haven't had much to say lately. I could go on at length about Knights of the Old Republic 2 or Soul Calibur 2, both of which I've been playing quite a lot lately, but I think that'd be pretty dull for most of you.
I will say I'm interested in the new Star Wars game coming out soon, Republic Commando. Yes, it's an FPS, and I swore off FPS's long ago, but it's not solely an FPS. You actually play the leader of an elite squad of clone troopers, and a large part of the game is learning how to lead the squad and command your men effectively. Plus, it's Star Wars. If a game is set in a fantasty universe that I love, that tends to negate anything about it that I would normally dislike (viz. War of the Ring).
