- I take issue with io9 for calling Push a "vastly underrated film." It could have been a really good film. It had some great ideas and some great scenes. But it also had some really bad ideas and a plot that was a clumsy mess that didn't hold together at all if you thought about it for a few minutes. That being said, I could see how the TV series sequel they're working on might be good.
- Check out Rafael Grampa's incredible art in these preview pages from his new Dark Horse book, Mesmo Delivery.

- A few pics and a description of some early footage from Dreamworks' upcoming animated supervillain epic, Megamind.
- Gene Roddenberry's The Questor Tapes, a 1974 TV movie pilot about an android in search of its creator, was never made into a series - but it could be now!
- Hilarious new opening crawl for Star Wars: The Special Edition.
- Turns out the new Spider-Man movie will be based on Ultimate Spider-Man. Huh.
- Seeing as how I just reread The Hobbit, and am now in the process of rereading The Lord of the Rings, I'm even more excited than I would be normally about this site, which collects book covers, and sometimes even some interior illustrations, from 108 different international editions of The Hobbit. - This interview with Guy Davis includes lots of his amazing monster art. (Via)
- Gratuitous Paul Pope art! I love Paul Pope art!
- A full scan of Archie Goodwin and Walt Simonson's comic book adaptation of the film Alien. (Via)
- Some plot details and the poster for Roman Polanski's next film, The Ghost Writer.
