The dog's not the only one |
by poppy |
So I'm trying to find a dog breed for us. One of the benefits of condo living is being able to have pets without paying through the nose for them. The tricky part is a)I'm sensitive to pet dander, so we need to go non-shedding and b)Although technically not an apartment, the space is kind of the same, so size is an issue, and we will share a wall with three other people, so yapping just will not do. I'm going through a list just now and read up on the Maltese, a breed I have had my eye on for awhile because it is, let's face it, pretty f-ing cute. Things were going okay until it mentioned something about protecting the house by responding to suspicious noises. That translates, I believe, into yapping. And then there's this: "Do not over-pamper or overprotect these little dogs, for some become unstable."
I think feanor would agree that one unstable bitch per condo is plenty. |
