- Okay, seriously, who's in charge of picking out the teams that'll work on Philip K. Dick adaptations? First we had the John Woo/Ben Affleck team on Paycheck, and now we have Richard Linklater/Keanu Reeves on Scanner Darkly?! Come on, that's insane! That's nightmarish! And they put Robert Downey, Jr. and Woody Harrelson in there, too. Woody Harrelson!! WTF?!
- This is just kind of sad. "From the author of Jumanji," it says at the end, as if that weren't already painfully obvious. Sigh.
- But this I'm very excited about: Terrence Malick has a new movie! Malick only makes a movie every once in a great while; The New World (which looks fantastic and beautiful) will be his first since the amazing The Thin Red Line, a powerful, philosophical, contemplative WWII film that came out in 1998.
- Holy crap, Revenge of the Sith is 90% fresh! Woo hoo!
