Postscript from the Edge |
by Fëanor |
And now, to make up for the fact that I did no blogging on the weekend, here's another post, in less than an hour since the last one! Can you handle it???- Pah hah!
- Aquaman and the Funky Bunch? It's such a crazy idea, it just might work! Seriously, I like that Mark Wahlberg fellow, and I could see him as Aquaman.
- I read here in the Metro today that Rush Limbaugh says he could totally reconcile Terrell Owens and Donovan McNabb. Really? Um, Rush? Do you remember how you got fired (or "resigned," as they call it these days) from your sports commentator job for saying really stupid, insensitive things about that one quarterback? Well...that guy was Donovan McNabb, Rush. Yeah, this is the same guy.
All I can think is that his plan must be to trick them into reuniting by giving them a common enemy: himself. He'll probably do this by saying more stupid and insensitive things about black people.
- Another great quote from the Metro today is this one, from a 19-year-old Harry Potter fan named Kye: "Book six is clearly based on the song 'Every Breath You Take' and book seven will be based on 'The Greatest Love of All' by Whitney Houston."
I'm kind of curious to hear Kye's explanation, but I'm afraid that he/she would be only too happy to sit me down for about four hours and lay it out for me in excruciating detail. There may even be charts and spreadsheets involved.
