- I've got one free pass each to two upcoming entertainment events, and they're up for grabs, first come, first serve:
- First, I'll be skipping movie night this week to...go see a movie! I'm catching a special screening of Everything Is Illuminated at the Ritz 5 (or one of the Ritzes, I can't remember) at 7:30, courtesy the Philadelphia Film Society. Anybody interested?
- I'll also be hitting a show featuring the Posies, Earlimart, Oranger, and the Deathray Davies next Tuesday at 8 at the Khyber. I don't know much about any of these bands, but you can listen to an entire album by Earlimart on the internet, and it's pretty excellent, so I'm excited. Who's interested in accompanying me to this one?
- This special edition Office Space box set sounds pretty cool. Besides the regular extra features and so forth, it comes with a coffee mug, a mouse pad, a red stapler (!), a pen and pencil set, a magnetic picture frame, and a notepad. No baseball bat for printer-bashing, though.
- Dude found an ancient Roman villa using Google Maps and Google Earth. Sweet.
- Anybody want to get me the Interceptor from Mad Max for my birthday? 'Cause that'd rock.
