- You know, Topher Grace as Venom sounded like a terrible idea to me, but I thought at least the costume would look cool. Now it's sounding like not so much. Of course, it could be these rumors refer to some kind of get-up Topher's wearing just for the shoot, which will be replaced by a computer effect later. But who knows.
- Holy crap! This trailer (via The Movie Blog) for George Clooney's next movie, Syriana, is amazing. And, OMG, is that Dr. Bashir from "DS9"?! You go, doc!
- A while ago, I mentioned WXPN's list of the 885 All Time Greatest Albums. Well, now they're playing them (two songs from each in the bottom group, three songs from the middle group, and each entire album for the last group), and posting up the list as they do so. You can see the current shape of the list at the link above, and listen to the station's live feed here.
As always with something like this, the list is a complete travesty, with all kinds of horrible mistakes - in placement, in inclusion, in exclusion. But it's also an interesting thing to keep track of, and they've gotten to the point in the list now when they're starting to play some pretty good stuff. Check it out.
